Realistic Chain Drive
We couldn’t call the Promoto a true street racing bike or dirt bike if it wasn’t chain-driven. Steel links and 70 roller pins wrap around a 10-tooth steel drive sprocket and a 36-tooth aluminum hub sprocket. Regardless of conditions, the chain drive efficiently and reliably powers the rear wheel.

Twin Aluminum Plate Chassis
The twin aluminum chassis plates house and protect all of the bike’s electronics, helping the Promoto maintain a realistically narrow appearance. They also provide the frame with the rigidity and durability needed to withstand harsh impacts.

“On The Fly” Drive Modes
The Xtreme RC 5P transmitter has three pre-programmed drive modes that you can toggle between “on the fly” using the A/B rocker switch.

• Dirt Mode — For jumping over ramps
• Street Mode — Keeps the front tire grounded
• Wheel Control Mode — Let ‘em rip! Allows you to hold wheelies all the way to top speed!

VeloMax Promoto RC Motorcycle Front Crash Structure
The front crash structure of the VeloMax Promoto remains rigid during normal running but compresses when the front tire contacts the chassis, absorbing front impacts. This helps protect the front fork tubes from bending, keeping them safe and straight.

VeloMax Promoto RC Motorcycle Rear Fender
Wheelies happen. Traditional rigid-mounted rear fenders take a beating. VeloMax Promoto offers a solution — a hinged elastomer-sprung rear fender that can deflect during wheelies to expose a durable nylon rear bumper. This significantly increases the durability of the rear fender.

Updated Lean Bars
The lean bar positioning on the Promoto-SM has been updated to allow for a greater lean angle than traditional dirt bikes. New rubber lean bar tires mounted on bearings reduce noise and offer better traction on hard surfaces. Adjustable stops are included for up and down travel, allowing you to fine-tune the bike based on surface or grip requirements. The lean bars also assist with crash recovery when the rear tire has traction. If the bike falls on the track, simply hit the throttle to stand it upright and resume riding.

Updated Brake Calipers and Pistons (VeloMax Promoto-SM RC Motorcycle)
Despite the original Promoto-MX front brake system performing well, the design team believed improvements could be made. A brand-new caliper and floating piston design have been created to provide a larger pressure area on the brake pads. Additionally, a new Metal Injection Molded (MIM) piston shaft has been installed on bearings for smoother operation and better dust protection. These upgrades result in shorter braking distances and more consistent braking performance.

Pro-Line Racing OE (Original Equipment) Supermoto Street Tires (VeloMax Promoto-SM RC Motorcycle)
The Promoto-SM is equipped with new Pro-Line Racing OE (Original Equipment) Supermoto street tires. These tires not only complement the bike’s scale appearance but are also specifically designed to meet the unique wear and traction requirements of supermoto-style road racing.
